i'm a third-year at the university of waterloo studying ai, math, and computer science.

most of my recent work has been at the intersection of machine learning and software engineering. retrieval pipelines, summarization, internal reporting tools, and browser extensions. most of it has shipped to real users.

outside of co-ops i work on side projects in the same areas: small training experiments in rust, retrieval-heavy agents, and a graphrag project on aviation safety incident reports.
